Hank’s Beverages launches two flavors for the holidays

Hank’s Beverages of Philadelphia, Pa., introduces two new flavors for the holidays: Hank’s Premium Highland Berry Soda and Hank’s Premium Citrus Soda. Scheduled to debut in September, the flavors will pair up with Hank’s Premium Island Fruit Punch and Hank’s Premium Orange Cream to form a complete line extension.

Highland Berry intricately blends cherry, raspberry, cranberry, and strawberry to create a light, delicate flavor. While berry flavors have proliferated the soft drink market, this unique flavor combines a bit of cream for smoothness.

Hank’s Premium Citrus Soda is the first beverage in the Hank’s line to be enhanced with caffeine, guarana berry, and ginseng. It joins rank among a select few of premium citrus beverages packaged in a glass bottle.

"While many of our competitors in this category market their citrus drinks to a young male demographic, we feel this flavor has potential for a broader appeal. You don't have to be a Generation Xer or a participant in extreme sports to appreciate a thirst-quenching premium beverage," states Bill Dunman, General Manager at Hank’s Beverages.

While Hank’s Premium Citrus Soda will be packaged in green glass, Highland Berry will be displayed in clear glass to highlight its vibrant red color. Both flavors will have a clear label with gold foil trim to match the existing beverages in the line.

"We wanted to create a line of light, subtle flavors to offset our amber line which features flavors that are richer, creamier, and more robust. This continual diversification speaks to the fact that we are no longer just a root beer company," states Dunman.

In addition to their new line of beverages, Hank’s amber line consists of six premium, Philadelphia-style flavors: Hank’s Premium Root Beer, Diet Root Beer, Birch Beer, Black Cherry Wishniak Soda, Orange Soda, and Vanilla Cream Soda.
